Venues with a difference.
The Challenge
etc.venues needed to differentiate themselves by giving meeting and event planners a good reason to choose them beyond location, room size and availability.
Every aspect of their venues is designed around helping people get more from their time together. The challenge was to show why those details mattered and align that difference to the brand.
The Mind Hack
Many meeting and event spaces start life as something else. A hotel, a church or a pub. That often means awkward sightlines, poor acoustics, small windows with limited natural sunlight, and tech bolted on as an afterthought.
At etc.venues, each location is purpose-built from the ground up to be a meeting venue. Floor-to-ceiling windows means natural light fills the space energising attendees. Built-in tech makes connectivity seamless. Insulation ensures no distractions. Even the meals are carb-balanced and made from natural ingredients to keep attendees sharp throughout the day.
The insight was that etc.venues did more than provide a space to meet. Crucially, they created the perfect environment for attendees to think clearly, contribute confidently, and get the best out of their day.
The Idea
“The Inspiration Organisation” repositioned etc.venues around what its spaces helped people achieve. The promise was brought to life with the “Supercharged not superficial” campaign.
Each execution showed how a different part of the experience supported better meetings, from the natural light and vibrant design to the in-built tech and natural food ingredients. Together, these made a difference to attendees and gave planners powerful reasons to look beyond location and size when choosing a venue.
The Results
The new positioning differentiated etc.venues connecting its purposefully designed spaces with a more productive, inspiring experience for guests. The campaign brought that difference to life, helping establish the brand as the UK’s leading B2B event provider.
